Leseprobe:
This collection of 100 beautiful crochet designs features patterns inspired by decorative ceramic tiles from around the world. You can mix and match the designs to create your own blankets and throws - or try one of the eight exciting projects, which show you other ways in which the tiles could be assembled. The projects can also be made using any other tiles that are the same shape from the book, so the possibilities are endless. Each pattern also has a chart, either a stitch chart - which also shows the colour of each stitch - ora colour chart showing colour changes for tiles made in the mosaic, tapestry or intarsia techniques. You can work from the stitch charts instead of the written pattern, but since the colour charts do not show which stitch is being worked you will also need to follow the pattern. Some of the colour chartsonly show one segment of the design, so will need to be repeated several times around to make the complete tile.
