Heilmann, Dr. med. vet., PhD, DACVIM-SAIM, DECVIM-CA, MANZCVS, AGAF, Professor and Chair of Small Animal Internal Medicine, University of Leipzig, Germany; Romy Heilmann serves as Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Leipzig, Germany, and as chair of the InnLab working group of the German Veterinary Medical Society (DVG). She leads and participates in several clinical and basic science projects in the fields of small animal gastroenterology, hepatology, immunopathology, and translational medicine.Jonathan A.
